After reading the Penn State case involving the Officials who covered up alleged sex abuse, I can honestly say that the article angered me deeply. Knowing all of the things this "coach" had done to the kids that probably once looked up to him sickens me to the core. The kids were between the ages of 10-16, which is a very common age for the sex abusers. The advisers that were warned of the things that the assistant coach had seen, brushed away the words like it was nothing, probably for the protection of the "prized" coach. Now they are being charged with perjury, as they rightly should be. I also believe the coach should be sentenced no matter how much money is offered, for a life in the terrible hole of a prison cell. "The children are scarred for life," Police Commissioner of Pennsylvania State Frank Noonan said. These children were very young of age, they were just beginning their life, and now they will live with the haunting memories that this sick man had plagued upon them. He found his victims through a charity he founded, The Second Mile, and he would take them to games, and invite them into his home for nights. "I think you have the moral responsibility, anyone. Not whether you're a football coach or a university president or the guy sweeping the building. I think you have a moral responsibility to call us" replied Noonan. These words are quite true for all people. The officials that didn't go to the police or any other advised place were many times released and reentered into custody for their dastardly deeds. To think that they thought what they was doing was right and just, is completely unacceptable to greatest amount. The man charged for these acts, Sandusky, should be entered into a prison and sentenced to a number of years in prison. No matter the terrible decisions of the officials, the university is paying legal costs for them. All the people who did wrong in this case should very much be put under supervision in the custody of the jail house.
