Love is becoming Over-rated

People now adays, expecially teens are throwing the word love around like its nothing but a saying of affection. Though love is filled with affection, one does not deserve the word if you have only know them for a week or two. I grew up learning that love is something uncontrolable, unexpected, unforgetable, and unbreakable. Its something more powerful than all of us. The one you love, is the person that you adore their every flaw, and their every molecule of themselves, you would die for this person, you care about their well being more than your own. And i honestly doubt that you would give your life for someone that you just met. Yes i do believe in love at first sight, sometimes on occasions when you meet someone, you just know your souls are entwined immediatly. But i dont know how commen that is, I see people that say I love you so fast, and then they leave that person the next day, bad mouthing them like they meant nothing. That was never love, even if you seperate from your them, you would never shred a word of hate, or meanness toward them. You will love them unconditionally and never lose the way you feel. Thats what love is to me at least.
